Advanced Mailing Solutions, the East Kilbride-based Mailing House has been recognised at the annual Shell LiveWire Awards 2003.

Around 150 members of the East Kilbride Chamber of Commerce and their partners attended the annual summer ball in the East Kilbride Hilton Hotel. As part of the evenings ceremony was the presentation of the 'Young Entrepreneurial Company of the Year' award which this year was presented to local company Advanced Mailing Solutions.

Advanced Mailing Solutions today were confirmed as being one of only a very few mailing houses in Scotland to have been accepted for membership into the Direct Marketing Association. Although the market costs for biodegradable polythene continues to remain higher than standard polythene, we as a company are committed to mitigate the environmental impact of polywrapped direct mail and intend to absorb these increased costs without passing on to our new and existing clients.

Advanced Mailing Solutions today signs a new lease on additional premises within the Company's existing business park. This now takes the East Kilbride-based firm's storage and production facility to more than 12,000 sq ft and greatly enhances the Company’s warehousing capability.
